Thanks to the company’s deal with Disney, you can get Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for free, as long as you stay subscribed to Unlimited service.
Verizon’s tried heavily to attract a growing audience of younger adults using cell phones to their service. One of the major attempts to build market share, has been through deals and addons with their Unlimited service, a step towards its rivals’, AT&T and T-Mobile’s included addons.
In my opinion, Verizon’s really started speeding up with deals, and they’re done really well. As a Verizon Unlimited subscriber, these free addons really help increase the value of these plans, especially when taking into account the three of us spend over $200 per month on our phones combined.
That was before Verizon included the Disney+ bundle in their Play More and Get More Unlimited plans, which was really great. Although we got 3 years of Disney+ back in 2019, and still had that deal running, this helped save that extra $6.44 per month. Previously, Verizon had Disney+ for 6 months on Start and Do More Unlimited, with a year on Play More and Get More, although they’re changed the one year of Disney+ to an infinite supply of the entire bundle.
That’s enough about my experience however, so let’s get started.
Start Unlimited and Do More Unlimited both come with Disney+ exclusively. For 6 months, Verizon will pay for your Disney+ bill, and then afterwards, either you’ll have to pay for the service ($6.99/month) or you’ll have to cancel it.
These two also have Apple Music ($9.99 per month) and discovery+ (ad-free is $6.99/month) for 6 months, meaning that you’ll have access to all three, for 6 months each.
Verizon’s Play More and Get More Unlimited ($55 and $65 per month) both come with Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ included. These usually go for $6.99, $5.99, and $5.99 per month, or a total of $18.97/month unbundled.
If you do bundle the package however, it becomes $12.99 per month, on point with Netflix’s Standard plan. Both of the lines come with these services, for the rest of your plan’s life. If Verizon removes the deal later, you’ll still have access. If you switch plans however, you’ll lose access.
Play More also comes with Apple Music ($9.99 per month) for 6 months, although it used to be included, and with discovery+ for 12 months ($6.99/month). Get More comes with Apple Music included, and discovery+ for 12 months.
For each plan, you’ll save:
If you plan on subscribing to these services in the first place, you can pay the equivalent of $20-$30 per month for your service bill, a discount over $55-$65 for the normal price.
