Robinhood or Stockpile
Gift stock to adults (Robinhood) or kids (Stockpile)
This year has been a tough year, and that’s totally understandable. For people that either have financial struggles from this year, or those that want to give something a little smaller, we’ve produced a sub $30 list of gifts for you.
Our list focuses on tech oriented gifts that most people would love, with a little bit for everyone! We choose only products that we’d personally get, and there are no affiliate links or any money in this for us. Statural would just like to help make your gift choosing a little easier.
A high quality budget video camera with free cloud storage
Wyze was started by some ex-Amazon employees that found out that higher quality, lower price cameras could be made, and so they did.
The Cam v3 is their 3rd iteration, with higher quality video, a cheaper price, better ngiht vision, an invisible infrared light, waterproofing, and wireless access. In other words, it’s really good.
A vacuum insulated steel cup with 25k 5-star reviews
YETI is the company behind some of the most overpriced and highest quality tumblers in the world. This is not that. This is a high quality mug coming in at a relatively affordable price, with some long term usage in mind.
This is also vacuum sealed, and provides some incredible heat retention (or cold retention if you need it). It’s really good. And it’s Yeti.
USB 3.1 speeds in a tiny, dual USB drive for a nice price
I actually have this USB at home, or at least did until I lost it. It’s got fast USB 3.1 speeds, a small, sleek design, and dual drives, for use both on PCs and USB-C phones. It’s also on sale with all sizes, but 128GB is a perfect fit. I’d recommend this for anyone that wants a USB.
Spherical designs and high(ish)-fidelity sound
Amazon’s newest Echo Dot is higher quality, now a sphere, and comes in at an affordable price, helping to get Alexa into the hands of more users. I’m planning on buying one of these, since they’ve supposedly increased the sound quality and made it more useful for smart home accessories as well.
Thin smart plugs with wireless control through your phone
This plug fits in with the Echo Dot above, since it turns ordinary devices into smart ones. Using the Kasa app, you can access and remotely control power to items across your house plugged into these, and it also works with Alexa and Google Home devices. Plus it’s cheap and allows two to be put into a standard two slot power outlet.
A 200ft Bluetooth range with an anonymous finding network
Tile Mates are tiny, and incredibly useful when you need to find things that you’ve lost. Really. You can also use a vast collection of anonymous users to help find your product if it was last seen near them.
HD quality from a little box with an included remote
The Roku Express is Roku’s cheapest device available, and allows you to turn any TV into a smart TV through the little box that comes with it. Rokus allow hundreds of programs, with almost anything that you could need, in terms of entertainment, available at your fingertips.

512 mini, very powerful, magnets with infinite possibilities
*Not suitable for children without parental supervision*
These incredibly powerful neodymium magnets can be used to fidget with or create unique little structures that stay together really well. The usefulness of magnets and the flexibility allow some fun to be had with the over 500 available for only 28 dollars. I’d say that’s a steal.
A full year of online play on your new Nintendo Switch
NSO allows you to connect your Switch to online services, giving you access to some multiplayer games, NES games, SNES games, cloud data saves, a smartphone voice chat app, and exclusive offers for members. There was a deal for NES and SNES Switch controllers that hooked to the side like Joy-Cons, that was only available for NSO members.
Gift stock to adults (Robinhood) or kids (Stockpile)
Stock is a great gift for anyone looking to their future, and can be incredibly useful for tons of people. With owning a part of a company, you’ll do well when they do well, but can also end up in debt if they do very poorly. I’m only 16 and have put over $1k into stocks through Stockpile, but Robinhood is also useful.
Robinhood has 0 commissions, but is only available for those 18+, while Stockpile has commissions, but gives younger people more flexibility and control over their investments.
